Paul Lockitt

Paul Lockitt is a leading communication skills coach and BBC journalist, who specialises in public speaking, crisis PR and media training. Since 2007, he has trained thousands of politicians and people from all walks of life, to protect themselves and present themselves in front of audiences of any size. His clients have included Associated British Foods, British Airways, Co-op Group, NHS, Price Waterhouse Cooper and Transport for Greater Manchester.
As a popular broadcaster, Paul has won the annual Sky News presenter of the year award no less than five times, which is unprecedented and unrivalled. He works as a journalist for the BBC, and has also been a regular broadcaster with Sky Sports and Bauer Media, in addition to providing voice coaching for hundreds of media students.
A keen actor, Paul came to broadcasting from a theatrical background, having started on stage at the age of 13 with the Manchester Youth Theatre. Experienced at interviewing people in power, Paul has also chaired public questions and answer sessions with high ranking politicians, including former Prime Ministers David Cameron and Gordon Brown, and the former Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg.
